Kevin King, M.B.A., J.D., MCDBA, MCSD, President
Kevin King has been deeply involved in a number of various software development projects and in the management of information technology services for many years. Mr. King is an attorney and management professional with over 20 years of management experience. Mr. King is also a strong technical professional, with over 25 years of direct experience in software development and the design, implementation and management of large database structures. Mr. King has been the MIS Director and CIO of a state agency with several thousand users in a large number of geographically dispersed locations and a progressive IT architecture. Mr. King has substantial experience managing the migration of large mainframe operations to fully client/server solutions. Mr. King is a staunch advocate of the adoption of advanced technology within IT organizations and the realization of improved returns on technological investments through tighter integration of information technology and operations.
Mr. King is a licensed attorney, and is a well known figure in the criminal justice community, having been a faculty member at two BJA/SEARCH symposiums on criminal justice information systems, as well as numerous other conferences. Mr. King was a member of the Law Library of Congress/ American Association of Law Libraries Task Force on the Preservation of Digital Law and the chair of the American Association of Law Libraries Special Committee on the Preservation of Digital Law.
Mr. King is responsible for overall management of the operations of Premirus Corporation, and is the chief software architect for the company.
William Shivers, CFO
William Shivers is a highly effective financial executive with over 30 years’ experience specializing in accounting, finance, and systems administration/implementations. As a dedicated and detailed oriented accounting professional, Mr. Shivers has served as chief financial officer and controller for multiple companies primarily in the manufacturing and insurance services industries. In addition to accounting and finance, he has led multiple departments to include human resources, payroll, and information technology. Mr. Shivers’ specialties include data management and analytics in addition to IRS and multiple state tax reporting. As Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Shivers is focused on ensuring the highest quality of accounting standards and financial reporting. Mr. Shivers is a continuous learner and an alumnus of Francis Marion University. William Shivers is well known with local not for profit organizations for his generous volunteer efforts. Presently, Mr. Shivers serves as Treasurer for the Animal Protection League of South Carolina.
